Obituary of Mattie Haddix

HADDIX, Mattie Jean (nee Taulbee) age 78 of Loveland, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, April 29, 2013 at Bethesda North Hospital. Born May 4, 1934 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, Mattie was the daughter of Nathan and Monte Taulbee and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mattie loved spending time with her family and her family was her life. Preceded in death by her birth-parents, step mother Arbutus Taulbee, brothers Bernard, Finley, Nathan Jr. and James Taulbee; Mattie leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years Prater "Curly" Haddix of Loveland, Ohio; sons David and Jeff (Susan) Haddix of Loveland, Ohio and Jerry (Tammy) Haddix of South Lebanon,Ohio; daughters Dee Dee Fugate of Lebanon, Ohio and Dana (Mike) Sherry of Blue Ash, Ohio; sister Naomi Dye-Amburgy of Kings Mills, Ohio; grandchildren Kathy, Vanessa, Lauren, Molly, Steven, Kelly, Tyler, Samantha, Emily and Jack and great grandchildren Alexis, Bella and Grace. Friends may call on the family Friday, May 3, 2013 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
