Sonja...your story is so beautiful...yes, it should be a best selling love story. Dick and I have our own stories to tell. My brother took care of people who were less fortunate, and as you know, he would put on benefits to help someone in need. I will love my brother forever. I will miss laughing with him until I cry. Dick had a great sense of humor. My brother loved you all of his life. He was misserable until he found you again. My heart is joined with yours, Sonja and Rick. God I miss him. Be strong Sonja. Richard and I met along time ago, in Germany. The first time he saw me, he said, I am going to marry her.He didn't even know my name.We were at the NCO club, he sked my ma if he could dance with me.The Love story started.We were together, until he got orders for Texas.I wrote him every day,from Germany.When he cmae back, few months later,we got an apartment.My mom,brother,sister,and friends were all happy for us. We then had our son.It came a time, when he wanted to get all matters straight and start a Life with our son and me.We stayed in Germany,he left for Usa.He called me everyday.I said I was staying in Germany.We went our ways.Life happens.As it does for everyone.Thirty-one years later,our son finds his dad,as he had quoted earlier, First call....................
Richard, I miss you dearly..You were the most loving,caring man I have ever known.We were given a second chance, in Life.Not everyone gets that. You came back into our lives, and made a difference.These past 3 years, we have had so much fun, laughing,talking etc about the past.When we were in Austria,everyone was enjoying thier soft ice cream, you ,of course toke one lick and it all fell off the cone..Only you can do that.
You gave me something ,no other has or ever will. No one will fill your shoes,Liebling..You have left your mark in me, that I will treasure.Regardless what others say, you were a wonderful man.They just didn't take the time to really know and love you.I could go on and on, just about you. But I will try to lead my Life, without you, as we spoke of.No one will fill your shoes....I love you Richard,until the end of time.I will be right beside you, when I leave this Life..May our Lord God, wrap his arms around you and take good care of you. In jan of 2010 I contacted my dad on the phone and it went kinda like this.

And then he wished me a happy late birthday. And I was kinda surprised that he remembered. We spoke for like an hour and every Sunday for 3 months we spoke on the phone. We'd watch football together and he'd be 5 sec ahead of me and ruin the next play for me! Lol. May of that year mom and I drove to hairesburg Penn to meet him. We spent the weekend playing pool and gambling at the casino. It was a great time. July he packed his stuff and moved to Ohio. All from just a simple phone call in Jan. Best call I ever made in my life! Love ya dad.
