Obituary of George Himes

HIMES, George W. "Bill" age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Kindred Nursing & Rehab (formerly known as Lebanon Country Manor) with his family by his side. Born January 9, 1936 in Lebanon, Ohio, Bill was the son of George and Theresa (Fritach) HImes, was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio and a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Bill was a retired bus mechanic with the Lebanon City Schools, a former member of the Lebanon Fire Department, a member of the Vintage Motorbike Club and a member of the St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents.Bill leaves behind his loving wife Amanda Ann (Hursey) Himes of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Billy Himes of Fairfield, Ohio, Jim Himes of Indiana and Donnie and Roy Donaldson of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Debbie Cole of Tennessee, Debi Owens of Florida and Sherry Townsend of Springboro; one brother Robert HImes of Lebanon, a host of grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
