Obituary of Rosemary Rub

RUB, Rosemary Lee (nee Mulford) age 83 of DeLand, Florida passed peacefully at her home Wednesday afternoon, November 23, 2011. Born February 18, 1928 in Waynesville, Ohio, Rosemary was the daughter of Irvin and Lois (Dakin) Mulford and a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Rosemary was a graduate of Waynesville High School (where she was a cheerleader), enjoyed singing in a big band on Glen Island (Foster, Ohio), loved the beach, angels and Thomas Kinkade art. Preceded in death by her parents and brother Jack Mulford; Rosemary leaves behind her daughter Rebecca Gilpin-Whitton of Cincinnati; sons Michael James of DeLand, Florida, Steve(Kirsten) Rub of Orange City, Florida, Jerry Gilpin of Miami, Florida and Donn Gilpin of Port St. Lucie, Florida; grandchildren Brad, Jodi, Tiffany, Wesslee, Jerry and Kimberly; seven great-grandchildren, her beloved K9 Brodi and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday, November 30, 2011from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with burial to follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
