Obituary of Betsy Halcomb

HALCOMB, Betsy (nee Scott) age 81 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her residence. Born March 17, 1932 in Harlan County, Kentucky, Betsy was the daughter of George and Maggie (Davidson) Scott and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Roscoe Halcomb and daughter Pauline Bryant; Betsy leaves behind her sons Ronnie Halcomb of Middletown, Ohio, Dale Halcomb of Lebanon, Ohio and Wayne Halcomb of Mississippi; daughters Dot Cornett and Betty Whitacre both of Kentucky; Peachie New of Indiana, Barbara Kirker of Lebanon, Ohio, Charlene Boggs of Dayton, Ohio and Shirley Halcomb of Middletown, Ohio; brother Robert Scott of Missouri and sister Zulie Piot of Tennessee and special grandson Darrell Polly of Lebanon, Ohio. Friends may call on the family Monday, April 8, 2013 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Reverend Larry Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
