Obituary of Robert Ellis

ELLIS, Robert Lee age 81 of Mason, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash with his family by his side. Born March 2, 1932 in Bartley, West Virginia, Robert was the son of Holly Hampton and Elsie (Given) Ellis and was a proud U.S. Marine Corps. Veteran of the Korean Era and a retired police officer with the Fairfax County Police Department in Fairfax, Virginia. Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed deeply by many. Preceded in death by his parents, son Charles Warren Ellis, brothers Howard H. and Joe Bill Ellis and sisters Margaret Isner and Eva Martin; Robert leaves behind his loving wife Tekla J. (Wessman) Ellis of Mason, Ohio; sons Michael Lee Ellis and Frederick Edward Ellis of Fairfax, Virginia; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be held Monday, March 25, 2013 at 10:30am at the Turtlecreek Cemetery located at 2505 North State Route 48, Lebanon, Ohio with Reverend Larry Taylor officiating.
