Obituary of Burchel Ledford

LEDFORD, Burchel age 95 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday afternoon, March 19, 2013 at Kindred Nursing & Rehab. Born September 9, 1917 in Clay County, Kentucky, Burchel was the son of Robert and Lizzie (Meade) Ledford and a retired worker from the Millen Paper Company. Burchel was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fishing, gardening, his favorite K-9 Teddy and spending time with his family. Burchel was also a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, dear wife Mamie(Oldham) Ledford and sister Arkie Browning; Burchel leaves behind his loving children Roger Ledford of South Lebanon, Ohio, Edith Faulkner of Lebanon, Ohio, Anne Smith of Loveland, Ohio and Norma Victory of West Chester; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Thursday evening, March 21, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:00am at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio with Pastor Jason Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
