Obituary of George Fennen

FENNEN, George Evert age 85 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, March 16, 2013 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born December 12, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio, George was the son of Evert and Stella (Evans) Fennen and a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. George was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a retired Public Works Superintendant from the City of Fairfield, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Lois Fennen in 2012, son James Fennen and his siblings, George leaves behind his loving children Patty (John) Citrowski of Clarksfield, Minnesota, Matt Fennen of Columbus, Ohio and Michael (Shelly) Fennen of Lebanon, Ohio; six grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family appreciates memorial donations that are directed to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Otterbein Benevolent Fund, 585 North State Route 741, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
