Obituary of Lillian Sherwood

SHERWOOD, Lillian (nee Clark) age 100 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday morning, March 16, 2013 at Hospice of Cincinnati . Born September 4, 1912 in Mason, Ohio, Lillian was the daughter of John and Grace (Reed) Clark and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and dear friend to all who knew her. Lillian was retired from the Pogue's Department Store where she worked in furniture sales. Lillian was active in the community as a founding member of the Lebanon Garden Club and past Worthy Matron of the Lebanon Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilbur Sherwood, she is survived by her only child Susan (Bob) Gabriel of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother Raymond Hoff of Kentucky; sister-in-law and wonderful friend Nancy Hoff of Pennsylvania; niece Harriett Branble of North Dakota; nephew Fred Hoff of Texas; great nephew Mark Abbott of Pennsylvania and grand daughter Dana Bryant of Mississippi. Friends may call on the family Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Reverend Ed Hatke officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
