Obituary of Gladys Gilbert

GILBERT, Gladys (nee Howard) age 85 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday morning, March 2, 2013 at Kindred Nursing & Rehab (formerly known at Lebanon Country Manor). Born August 24, 1927 in McGoffin County, Kentucky, Gladys was the daughter of Willard and Minnie Howard and was a member of the Full Gospel Church of God. Gladys was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee Roy Gilbert in 1985, brothers Dwight, Beecher and Arnett Howard and sisterCandy Ward, Goldie Howard, Bertie Charles and Lilly Kenny; Gladys leaves behind her loving children John (Mary) Gilbert of Lebanon, Ohio, Wanda (Mark) Solsman of Morrow, Ohio and Carolyn (Randy) Bevins of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Lynn Wichterman, Amy Solsman, Adria (Jeff) Pugh and John (Dena) Gilbert, Jr. ; great-grandchildren Derek Gilbert, Taylor Gilbert, Shelby and Terra Wichterman and Michaela Easterling and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Reverend Larry Isaacs officiating.
