Obituary of Evelyn Vogel

VOGEL, Evelyn M. "Happy" (nee Carius) age 92 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Evelyn was the daughter of Louis F. and Erma (Akin) Carius and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Evelyn enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Arnim Vogel and sister Erma Bergholm; Evelyn leaves behind her children Dr. Thomas (Sandy) Vogel of Lebanon, Ohio, Lou (Peggy) Vogel of Hector, New York and Joan Louise (Isidro) Vogel of Marysville, Washington; grandchildren Lacy (Drew) Emsweller, Sylvan, Willa and Sam Vogel, Brianna & Morgen Vogel-Nilsson; great grandchildren Livy, Dane and Meila Emsweller and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 4:00pm at the Otterbein Retirement Community Chapel.
