Obituary of Willis Fields

FIELDS, Willis age 69 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Bethesda North Hospital with his family by his side. Born December 25, 1943 in London, Kentucky, Willis was the son of Arthur and Iva (Smith) Fields and was a retired job setter with the General Motors Company in Moraine with 32 years of service, an accomplished cabinet maker and a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Denvis Willis and sister Alpha Brown; Willis leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years Ella (Brock) Fields of South Lebanon, Ohio; son Darrell Fields of Loveland, Ohio, daughter Melissa (Stephen) Briscoe of Loveland, Ohio; brothers Boyd (Carolyn) Fields and Lynn (Charlotte) Fields all of Kentucky; sisters Goldie (Vernon) Blanton, Jean (Marnell) Hoskins and Chyrl (Rex) Taylor all of Kentucky and Florence (Ferrell) Asher of Indiana; grandchildren Jordan and Tanner Briscoe and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Friday, February 8, 2013 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm with Reverend Bud Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
