Obituary of Eugene Hill

HILL, Eugene age 95 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Otterbein Retirement Community with his family by his side. Born January19, 1918 in Bell County, Kentucky, Eugene was the son of Grover and Mary (Compliment) HIll and a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Eugene was retired from the Philco Ford Company where he worked in Maintenance and was a union member, enjoyed gardening and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Stanley and Albert HIll and sisters Roberta Merritt and Irene Hatmaker; Eugene leaves behind his loving wife Clota Thelma (Ball) Hill of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter Jeannie (Steve) Scholl of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister Evelyn Rouse of Harlan, Kentucky; grandson Blake Scholl and one great-granddaughter.. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Otterbein Retirement Community Chapel, Lebanon, Ohio.
