Obituary of Robert New

NEW, Robert "Junior" age 87 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties with his family by his side. Born December 9, 1925 in Carrollton, Kentucky, Robert was the son of Luther and May (Wilhoite) New, a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, a loving husband, father and grandfather and member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Waynesville, Ohio. Robert enjoyed gardening, UK Basketball, playing horseshoes and most of all spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Roy and William New; Robert leaves behind his loving wife Bertha (Derman) New of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Dennis (Michelle) New of Lebanon, Ohio, Gary (Donna) New of Franklin, Ohio, Rick (Jackie) New of Waynesville, Ohio and Tony New of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Debbie New of Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Bobby New of Carrollton, Kentucky and Carroll New of Indiana; two grandchildren Austin and MacKenzie New and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the famil Friday evening, February 1, 2013 from, 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Full Gospel Tabernacle, Ferry Road, Waynesville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:30pm Reverend Tim Noble officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
