Obituary of Ernest Martin

MARTIN, Ernest L. age 84 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, January 11, 2013 at Hospice of Butler & Warren County with his family by his side. Born January 15, 1928 in Hopewell, Kentucky, Ernest was the son of Ernest and Edna (Claxon) Martin and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ernest was a lifelong resident of Warren County coming here at the age of 16. Ernest was a well-known farmer and enjoyed farming with his grandson John, gardening, fishing and hunting small game. Preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law John Wayne Kendrick; brothers Estil, Bernard and Edward Martin; sister Marcella Stevens, father and mother-in-law Alva and Mayme Huffman, brother-in-law Billy Gene Stephens and nephew Billy Gene Stephens, Jr.; Ernest leaves behind his daughter Norma Kendrick of Lebanon, Ohio; grandson John Wiley Kendrick of Lebanon, Ohio and sisters Sophia Ruth of Cincinnati and Edna "Dean" Binion of Grayson, Kentucky. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
