Obituary of Buel Johnson

JOHNSON, Buel Randolph "Randy" age 78 of Waynesville, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday, December 29, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. Born October 13, 1934 in Lyon County, Kentucky, Randy was the son of Raleigh and Mae Ona (Dobbs) Johnson and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to be missed by all who knew him. Randy was a retired truck driver with Central Transport, an accomplished woodworker and especially enjoyed playing Corn Hole. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Raleigh Johnson, Jr., and sisters Mertie Alley, Thelma Willett and Pauline Hyatt; Randy leaves behind his loving and caring wife Dorothy (Coffman) Johnson of Waynesville, Ohio; sons Gary (Anita) Johnson of Tennessee, Ron (Teresa) Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio and Greg (Debbie) Johnson of Waynesville, Ohio; daughter Cindy Baker of Lebanon, Ohio; step-children David and Troy Pierson, Cindy Cotte and Teresa Lamb; sisters Roberta Johnson-Ford and Linda Shockley both of Kentucky; grandchildren Daniel, Randee, Amy, Kelli, Jeremy, Jason, Kayla, Sarah, Erin, Dillon, Matthew, Taylor, Shelby, Cameron, Robbie, Nicholas and Elisha; eight great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Rev. Richard Drummond officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
