Obituary of Martha Coomer

COOMER, Martha (Nee McIntosh) age 81 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed to be with her Heavenly Father Christmas Day December 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Born August 13, 1931 in Brethitt County, Kentucky, Martha was the daughter of Robert and Rachel McIntosh. Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Pentecostal Temple of South Lebanon. Martha was a fine Christian woman who loved her family deeply and enjoyed watching her great-grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she loved to quilt, cook and take care of her flowers. Martha was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Bobbie Coomer, Sr., her parents, two brothers Wayne and Burchel McIntosh and three sisters Vicie Johnson, Ida Hyde and Norma Osborne. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bobbie Jr. and Tanya Coomer; three grandchildren - BJ (Stefanie) Coomer, Sarah Coomer and Chris Coomer; four great-grandchildren - Kayla Coomer, Lila Isaacs, Joseph Isaacs and Bree Coomer all of South Lebanon, Ohio; three sisters Louise Hendricks of Middletown, Ohio, Julie (Bill) Turner of Carey, Ohio and Joyce (Rant) Saylor of Brodhead, Kentucky; two brother-in-laws James (Mary Ann) Coomer and Charlie (Arlene) Coomer as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. The family wishes to thank Stefanie Coomer, Shana Darrell, Sherry Whitcomb, Reverend Junior Sargent, Gwen Sargent and Hospice for their unwavering care of Martha during her illness. Friends may call on the family Friday, December 28, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Pentecostal Temple of South Lebanon. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00am at the church with Rev. Junior Sargent officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
