Obituary of Jean Kilburn

KILBURN, Jean I. age 81 of Beattyville, Kentucky passed peacefully Monday, December 17, 2012 at trhe Lee County Care & Rehab, Born October 8, 1931 in Elizabeth, West Virginia, Jean was the daughter of William and Frank (Hoffman) Morehead. Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a respected educator. Jean received her B.S. from Marietta College, a Masters Degree from the University of Arizona in Tuscon, Her career in education included teaching Algebra at the Little Miami High School, Middletown High School and the Lee College in Kentucky. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Louise Morehead, Jean leaves behind her loving husband William Kilburn, Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio, sons Bryce and Arlyn Kilburn of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Wyn (Harold) Long of Richmond, Kentucky, Krista (Greg) Flum of Oregonia, Ohio and Diana Walker of Columbus, Ohio; brothers George (Donna) Morehead of Michigan, Clyde (Frankie) and Claire (Sally) Morehead both of Maryland; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call in the family Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 8:00pm. Burial will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
