Obituary of Thomas Myers

MYERS, Thomas Leonard age 63 of Oregonia, Ohio passed unexpectedly Friday evening, December 14, 2012. Born February 21, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, Tommy was the son of James Creed and Florence (Blanton) Myers and was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Tommy was a retiree from the Ohio Department of Transportation with 32 years of service as a mechanic and was a loving son, father and grandfather. Tommy was a member of the Lebanon Eagles Lodge #1395, the Harveysburg V.F.W. Post and ABATE and truly enjoyed his Harley. Preceded in death by his father, dear wife Janet Myers, son Tim Myers, brother David Creed Myers and infant sister Kathy Myers; Tommy leaves behind his loving sons Steve Myers of Lebanon, Ohio and Thomas L. Myers, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; loving mother Florence Myers of Lebanon, Ohio; brother Harold Joseph (Pamela) Myers of Tipp City, Ohio; sister Bonnie Myers (Michael) Hobbs of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Jarrett Myers, Thomas L. Myers III and Tim Myers and many other family members and friends. Friends may call on the family Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm.
