Joann and Phil, Please know our hearts go out to you and our prayers are with you during this difficult time. Joann, i so enjoyed the visit we had a few months ago at your house with the three of us. I'm so glad to have had this time with you both and especially with Uncle Lloyd. My favorite story that we shared at my mother's funeral involved when Uncle Lloyd and Uncle Clarence carved a wood gun and painted it black. They snuck it in my mother's purse for her first day of work at the Internal Revenue Service. During her first break, in the ladies room, she opened her purse. Surprise, Surprise! I think she almost fainted. Ha! Ha! Ha! I remember on a number of occasions, family members and you all sharing with me during our visit about your time in Hawaii. Uncle Lloyd's work flying around near the atomic blasts was a valuable contribution to knowledge and to his country. Again, we are so sorry for your loss and look forward to seeing you on Monday.
