Obituary of Richard Doughman

DOUGHMAN, Richard C. age 90 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born June 1, 1922 in South Lebanon, Ohio, Richard was the son of Clayton and Josephine (White) Doughman and was a retired mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service. Richard was a graduate of Kings High School and a proud U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Richard was active in his community and had been a member of the South Lebanon Village Council and Zoning Board, a member of the Kings School Board, had started a Little League Program in South Lebanon, and was a member of the Fellowship Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Beulah (Ledford) Doughman of Lebanon, ohio, sons Gary K. Doughman of Madison, Wisconsin, Richard C. Doughman II of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and William C. Doughman of Clarksville, Tennessee; sisters Viola Smith of South Lebanon, Ohio and Verla Ann Stenson of Fairfield, Ohio; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening, November 14, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. a second visitation will be held Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home with funeral service at 11:00am. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery. The family appreciates memorial donations directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
