Obituary of Sarah Corwin

CORWIN, Sarah E. (nee Ward) age 96 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Otterbein Retirement Community. Born May 11, 1915 in Bybee, Kentucky, Sarah was the daughter of Henry and Mollie Ward and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sarah was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and Lebanon Chapter #343 of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Louie Mounts Corwin in 1979, brothers Frank, Art and James Ward and sisters Jenny Parham and Betty Gary; Sarah leaves behind her son Jon (Vickey) Corwin of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Kay Sue (Corwin) Ott of Vandalia; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother Lester (Roberta) Ward of Dayton, Ohio and one sister Polly (Edward) Chmiel of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Friends may call on the family Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12:00pm with Reverend Kent Swigert officiating. Burial will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
