Obituary of James William Strain
STRAIN, James William age 91 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Woodlands of Middletown. James was born August 18, 1928 in South Lebanon, Ohio the son of John W. and Louann (nee: Ballentine) Strain. James retired with over 30 years of service from the Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, Ohio were he worked as a Machinist and Tool Grinder. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He attended West Side Church of Christ in Lebanon, and he always loved a game of golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and wives Kathy and Bernice. James leaves behind his sons James M. Strain of Milford, Ohio and BJ Strain of Indiana; daughters Sheila Turner of Dallas, Texas, Madonna Traurig of Lebanon, Ohio, and Tonya Strain; brothers Bob Strain and Raymond Strain; sister Patricia Lay of Lebanon, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11am at Deerfield Cemetery in South Lebanon, Ohio with Pastor Phillip Hopper officiating.
