Obituary of Ressie McFarland

MCFARLAND, Ressie (nee: Hall) age 71 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, February 09, 2020 at Otterbein Lebanon surrounded by her family. Ressie was born July 17, 1948 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Arlie J. and Mattie (nee: Francis) Hall. She was a graduate of Little Miami High School, and then attended Cosmetology School. Over the years, Ressie worked at Fiesta, the salon at Walmart, and Kristy Hair Salon in South Lebanon. She loved to dance and watching her beloved Cleveland Browns, but most of all loved being with her family. Ressie was preceded in death by her father, and one brother, Denver W. Hall. She leaves behind her mother, Mattie Hall; children Michael Gates, Tonya Gates, Christel Gates, and Joshua McFarland; brothers Dariel C. Hall, Dale Hall, and Dean Hall; sister Regina (Ronnie) Taulbee; grandchildren Zoe Fueston, Landen George, Xavier McFarland, Arlie McFarland, Braylen McFarland, and Riley McFarland; great-granddaughter Sage Tackett; as well as many other family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2020 from 5pm to 7pm and Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 10am until time of Services at 11am, all at The Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon.
