Obituary of George Bond Chowning

CHOWNING, George Bond, age 50 of Waynesville, Ohio passed away Monday, January 27, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. George was born June 06, 1969 in Wilmington, Ohio to Earl J. and Wanda (nee: Arliss) Chowning. He was a 1987 graduate of Blanchester High School and held an Associates Degree from Rets Tech. He worked as a Customer Service Specialist for AT&T for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors boating and riding motorcycles, but he especially loved spending time with his children and family. George is survived by his parents; his wife Amanda George; children Nicholas Chowning, Zachary Chowning, Patience Chowning, George Chowning Jr., Gregory Chowning, Brooke (Brian) Brabson, Bryce Boldman, and Amanda Huff; brothers Allan Chowning and Tony (Brenda) Chowning; sisters Melissa Eury and Judy (James) Arrowood; mother-in law and father-in-law Pam and Jerry George; sister-in-laws Kara Moore and Rhoda Edwards, nephew Anthony Chowning; grandchildren Emery Brabson and Ella Brabson; as well as many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 02, 2020 from 1pm until time of services at 3pm, all at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.
