Obituary of Nell Asher

ASHER, Nell S. (Nee Collett) age 102 passed peacefully Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. Born July 30, 1910 in Leslie County, Kentucky, Nell was the daughter of Manford and Nannie (Sizemore) Collett and was loving wife, mother and grandmother. Nell was a retired housekeeper from the Golden Lamb Inn and a member of the True Holiness Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents; husbands Oscar Shepherd and Pearl Asher and son Felix Shepherd; Nell leaves behind her sisters Cora Roark of Lewisburg, Ohio and Nannie Frye of Louisville, Kentucky; grandson Jasper Shepherd of South Lebanon, Ohio and many other family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Reverends Larry Isaacs and Josh Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
