Obituary of Alfreda Stollings

STOLLINGS, Alfreda (nee Blackburn) age 81 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, January 10, 2020 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Born April 7, 1938 in Huddy, Kentucky, Alfreda was the youngest daughter of Willard and Luna Blackburn and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Alfreda was one of 13 children and the last of all to pass. Alfreda was a member of the Northern New Home Church in Goshen and enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Hershel Stollings in 2019, brothers Arthur, Edgel, Walter, Luther, Tracy and Rufus Blackburn; sisters Lula V. Blackburn, Belvadora Smith, Mae Fern Fowler, Goldena Thacker, Lois Thacker and Beatrice Thacker; Alfreda leaves behind her loving daughter Kathy (Phillip) Nichols of Maineville, Ohio; granddaughter Tiffany Nichols; sister-in-laws Sandra Blackburn, Jewel Scott, Doris Wellman, Adith (Virgil) Young, Mildred Stanley, Alane (Mike) Hunt and Gale (Ray) Mollett and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
