Obituary of Shirley Gillman

GILLMAN, Shirley age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Bethesda Arrowsprings. Born October 7, 1934 in Lebanon, Ohio, Shirley was the daughter of Enos and Ruth (Wolfe) Gillman and was retired from the United Telephone Company. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Lebanon, Ohio, former Lebanon Business Woman of the Year, a member of the AFL-CIO, Red Hat Society, American Business Women's Association, The American Legion, the Lebanon Eagles Lodge #1395 and an official of the Warren County Democratic Society. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard "Sid" Gillman and sisters Bonnie Bailey and Delores Huffman; Shirley leaves behind her sister Marjorie (Norman) Lamb, special niece Melinda Anspach and many other family members and friends. Calling hours will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio.
