Obituary of Bobbie Coomer

COOMER, Bobbie Edward Sr. age 88 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Friday afternoon, September 21, 2012 at Bethesda North Hospital with his family by his side. Born November 19, 1923 in Lee County, Kentucky, Bobbie was the son of Elijah and Lula (Butler) Coomer and a proud U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and a Purple Heart Recipient. Bobbie was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, a member of the Pentecostal Temple of South Lebanon and truly enjoyed spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Roy and Ray Coomer; Bobbie leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years - Martha (McIntosh) Coomer of South Lebanon, Ohio; son Bobbie (Tanya) Coomer, Jr. of South Lebanon, Ohio; brothers Jim Coomer of Michigan and Charlie Coomer of Lebanon,Ohio; grandchildren BJ (Stefanie) Coomer, Sarah Coomer and Chris Coomer; great-grandchildren Kayla Coomer, Lila Isaacs, Joseph Isaacs and Bree Coomer and many other family members, friends and neighbors. Friends may call on the family Monday, September 24, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 1:00pm with Reverend JR. Sargent officiating. Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
