Obituary of Charles Brooks Taylor

TAYLOR, Charles Brooks, age 98 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Atrium Medical Center. Born November 20, 1920 in Morristown, Ohio, Charles was the son of Harry W. and Sarah Alice (nee: McEndree) Taylor. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Airforce during World War II. A graduate of St. Clairsville High School, Charles also held a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Charles retired from the Stanley G. Flagg company where he worked as a Sales Representative for many years. He enjoyed spending his free time traveling, fishing, reading, playing the organ, and beating anyone who would play against him in Gin Rummy. Charles was also a former member of the Kiwanis and a former Shriner.

Preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorothy (nee: Lukich) Taylor; and brothers Kenneth and Clifford Humphrey, Charles leaves behind his daughter Lindy (Frederick) Taylor of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren Katy Davidson and Rob Taylor; great-grandchildren Raylan and Caroline Davidson; as well as many other family members and friends.

There will be aMemorial Gathering Thursday, October 17, 2019. It will be held at the Otterbein Main Campus Building in the Phillippi Room from 5:30-6:30pm.
