Obituary of Virginia W. Eaton

EATON, Virginia W. (nee Hibbard) age 90 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully August 5, 2019 at the Otterbein Retirement Community just outside of Lebanon.  Born June 1, 1929 in Gray, Kentucky, Virginia was the daughter of William and Mary (nee Cox) Hibbard and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  Virginia was a retired nursing aide with Otterbein Retirement and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by her parents, husband Benjamin Harrison Eaton and brother Fred Hibbard; Virginia leaves behind her loving children Michael (Janet) Eaton of Wilmore, Kentucky and Brenda (Sparky) Scardina of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren Terri Vaughn, Heath Strawser, Sarah McCall, Rebecca Creech, Bryan Eaton, Bradley Eaton and David Eaton; great-grandchildren Sean Vaughn, Austin Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Victoria (Drew) O'Neil, Adrian, John and Caroline McCall, James and Anne Creech. Gracie Eaton, Daniel Mourning, Aaron Eaton and Sabrina and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 9, 2019 from 11am until time of service at 12pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Tufts officiating.  Graveside committal services will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1pm in the Cox Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
