Obituary of Jeffery Scott Downing

DOWNING, Jeffery Scott age 50 of Middletown, Ohio passed unexpectedly Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Atrium Medical Center with his family by his side.  Born June 4, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffery was the son of the late John E. and Joyce (nee Caldwell) Downing and was a loving son, brother and father.  Jeffery was employed as a cook with Cracker Barrel in Middletown, Ohio.  During his spare time, Jeffery enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  Jeffery was an organ donor and graciously helped over 50 other people.  Preceded in death by his parents; Jeffery leaves behind his girlfriend Mary Ward of Middletown, Ohio; sons Jonathan and Jeffery Downing; brother Damian Downing of Kentucky; sisters Jennie (David) Parker of Morrow, Ohio, Holly Downing of Tennessee and Kristy Lamb of Franklin, Ohio, special cousins Cyndi, Jamie and Michelle and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 10:30am until time of service at 12:30pm all at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Ohio.
