Obituary of David W. MacDonald

MacDonald, David W. Sr. age 83 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 3, 2019.  Born in Cincinnati, Ohio November 25, 1935.  He graduated from St. Bernard High School, was an Air Force Veteran and obtained a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati.  He went on to work for General Motors for most of his career.  He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise (nee Pieper) MacDonald; his sister Adele (nee MacDonald) Hansen and his son David W. MacDonald, Jr..  He is survived by his 3 children - Daniel MacDonald, Laura (Mike) Stone and Mary (Travis) Callahan; 6 grandchildren - Matt (Steed) Stone, Josh (Jordan) Stone, Courtney, Claire, TJ and Chloe Callahan and one great-grandchild - Julianne Stone.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 9am until 10am at the Ressurection Lutheran Church located at 1270 North Broadway, Lebanon.  Funeral services will begin at the church at 10am with Pastor Paul Heiney officiating.  Interment with Military Honors will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Blue Ash, Ohio.
