Obituary of Douglas M Peters

Douglas M. Peters, a resident of South Lebanon, Ohio, was born May 30, 1942 in Owsley County, Kentucky.  He died July 2, 2019 after a long struggle with heart disease and kidney disease.  He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Peters and Thelma June (Bowman) Peters, sisters Laverne Green, Loretta Efant, and Rebecca Butler, and his nephew Stephen Butler.  His is survived by his wife Barbara L (Sizemore) Peters, son Douglas E. Peters, one brother Wayne Peters, and one brother-in-law Amos Butler, and a host of family and friends.  He was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  He loved fishing, spending time at his Florida vacation home, and visiting with his family and his many friends.  He was loved and will be missed.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home and Monday, July 8, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Fellowship Baptist Church, Lebanon, Ohio with services immediately following at 11:00 am.  Interment will be at Deerfield Cemetery.  Donations may be made to Fellowship Tract League, P.O.
