Obituary of Stephen Wayne Johnson

JOHNSON, Stephen Wayne "Beef" age 65 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, June 27, 2019. Steve was born January 24, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to Lloyd and Rose (nee: Brown) Johnson. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and brother Harvey Johnson. Steve worked for many years at Lebanon Electric Supply and enjoyed collecting Nascar memorabilia,  baseball cards and bobbleheads, especially ones from the Cincinnati Reds. Steve loved to play softball and was an avid drummer, and played with the Vanderpool Band.

Steve is survived by his loving wife Linda (nee: Fuerst) Johnson of Lebanon, Ohio; sons Justin (Natalie Sabik) Johnson of Attleboro, Massachusetts and Brandon (Tina) Johnson of Billerica, Massachusetts; sister Marsha (Joe Sprouse) Pitman of Sophia, West Virginia; granddaughter Lucy; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, his dog chewy.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 01, 2019 from 5 PM until time of services at 7 PM all at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Tufts officiating.
