Obituary of Retha Bartels

BARTELS, Retha J. (nee Kilburn) age 54 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Friday, August 31, 2012 at Bethesda North Hospital surrounded by her family. Born February 6, 1958 in Wilmington, Ohio, Retha was the daughter of Charles W. and Freda (Hillard) Kilburn and a loving and devoted wife, sister and aunt. Retha was a 1977 graduate of Little Miami High School and had been employed with Pinecrest Nursing Home in Morrow as an Activities Director. Preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Debbie Kilburn, Retha leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years Michael Bartels of Morrow, Ohio; brother C. Michael Kilburn of Morrow, Ohio; mother-in-law Mary C. Bartels of New Richmond, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Friends may call on the family Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Morrow United Methodist Church in Morrow, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1:00pm with Pastor Phyllis Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrow Cemetery, Morrow, Ohio.
