Obituary of Brian Ross Young

Brian Ross Young, 63, died 10th February 2019 due to an automobile accident in Maineville, near Cincinnati, Ohio. His viewing will be held at First Baptist Church of South Lebanon, 505 Mason Rd, South Lebanon, OH 45065, this Friday, February 15, 2019 from 10am to noon, with services immediately following. Interment will be held at Maineville Cemetery.

Brian was born on 21^st of August, 1955 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Virginia “Ginny” and James “Jack” Young where he attended Bellefontaine High School, and met and married his beautiful wife, Angela (Masters) Young. He worked at Super Foods Warehouse while living there. He was also a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Living Hope Church, and Calvary Baptist Church at different times before moving to Maineville, Ohio in 2006 to begin working for Home Depot and joining First Baptist Church of South Lebanon.  

Brian gave his life to Christ in 1976 and was extremely active within all of his church families. He held many positions within his church communities throughout the years, but could most often be found preparing food in the kitchen or playing the keyboard for a Sunday morning service. He found joy in serving others and it showed in every aspect of his life. He loved organizing large gatherings and would be more than happy to let you know what kind of deals he got in the process. He had an infectious passion for helping those less fortunate and would often go without, if need be, to assure others were taken care of. He loved largely, laughed loudly and left a lasting imprint on everyone he met. To say that he will be missed doesn’t begin to describe the void that will be left in his absence. He loved God, Family and Church above all else and lived his life accordingly.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; two siblings, Shelley Young and Chris Young; three children, Jason Young, Timothy Young, and Karen Young; and soon to be 7 grandchildren, Kerstin Cox, Klarissa Cox, Roland Young, Marilyn Young, Samuel Young, Micah Young, and coming soon, Maxwell Young.
