Obituary of Robert Armold

ARMOLD, Robert age 86 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday morning February 9, 2019 at Hillspring Nursing Care in Springboro, Ohio.  Born September 12, 1932 in New Paris, Ohio, Robert was the son of Herrman C. and Thelma K. (nee Smith) Armold and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Robert was a 1950 graduate of Franklin High School and a retired heavy equipment mechanic from Tincher's Welding.  During the summer months, Robert could be found spending hours caring for his extensive vegetable garden.  Robert was a former member of the V.F.W. Post #6069, the Middletown Moose Lodge and Lebanon Eagles #1395. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Greta (nee Ziegler) Armold and brothers Rex, Forrest and Larry "Pete" Armold; Robert leaves behind his children Robert (Deborah) Armold, Jr.; Tim (Deb) Spaeth and Becky (Mike) Roedersheimer; brothers John Armold and Gene Armold; sister Candy Parks; grandchildren Shannon Steiner, Whitney Bowermaster, Zach Armold, Christopher "Jake" Armold and Alec Spaeth; six great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feburary 13, 2019 from 11am until time of service at 1pm.  Interment will follow in the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
