Obituary of Johnnie Wass

WASS, Johnnie age 61 of Clarksville, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash with his family by his side.  Born February 8, 1957 in Manchester, Kentucky, Johnnie was the son of Charles E. and Rosalee (nee Baker) Wass and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Johnnie was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a pump operator in construction.  Johnnie was a member of the Fellowship of Praise Church in Clarksville, Ohio and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.  Preceded in death by his parents and son Wayne Durham, Johnnie leaves behind his loving wife Kathy (nee Baker) Wass, sons Tim Durham of Batavie, Randy Durham of Montgomery, J.D. Wass of Morrow and Jonathan Durham of Clarksville; daughter Karli Wass of Morrow, sisters Charlene (Bill) Gabbard of Hamilton and Sonja (Ken) Runstadler of Michigan; fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 10, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 1pm with Pastor Matt Morgan officiating at the Stine Kilburn
Funeral Home..  Interment will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
