Obituary of Brian Scott Hines

HINES, Brian "Scott" age 56 of Lebanon, OH passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 29, 2018. Born November 18, 1961 in San Diego, CA to Garland Hines and Glenda Sutherland (nee Cummings). Scott was a loving husband, an amazing father and was loved and respected by so many. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others, his sense of humor and his loyalty, and his passion for the things he loved.  Many will remember Scott for his love of bowling and restoring antique fire apparatus. They will also remember Scott from his years of service to the Lebanon Fire Division and as the former Chief of the Massie Township Fire Department, where Scott was a friend and mentor to many. Scott was also the owner and operator of Scott Hines Plumbing in Lebanon for many years. Preceded in death by his parents and his step-father Dallas Sutherland, Scott is survived by his loving wife Nacole Hines, daughters Jacqueline Hines, Christina West and Amanda Nyquist, son Daniel Nyquist, grandson Jonah Baldwin, brother Joseph Hines, sisters Bobbi Jo Jacobson and Tammy Kelch, as well as many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 03, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service at Noon, all at the Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home. Internment to follow in Lebanon Cemetery.
