Obituary of Delmas Ray Clemons

CLEMONS, Delmas Ray age 85 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully October 12, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren with his family by his side.  Born October 30, 1932 in Garrett, Kentucky, Delmas was the son of George and Ellen (nee Hayes) Clemons and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Delmas served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.   Delmas was a retired foreman with our local telephone company, former post commander of the Lebanon VFW Post 6069 and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by his parents and daughter Candice Coomer, Delmas leaves behind his loving wife Billia (nee Chaffins) Clemons, daughter Lisa (James) Busemeyer, sistes Ella Faye(Dempsey) Chaffins and Alma Rose, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 11am until 12pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 12pm with Pastor Richard Ross officiating.  Burial with military honors to follow in the Lebanon Cemetery.
