Obituary of John Edward Stephens

Stephens, John Edward, age 84, of Oregonia, OH passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Oregonia.  He was born May 23, 1934 in Whitley City, KY to the late Howard and Flora Stephens.  In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean, son, John Richard Stephens, and brother, Larry Stephens.

John is survived by his children:  Kim Woods, Terry Merrick, Cindy Fairfield, Stuart Stephens, and Kristy Stephens; brothers, Donald (Bonnie), and Jerry (Beverly) Stephens, and sister, Merrie Lee Stephens, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, 801 Monroe Road, Lebanon, OH.  A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m.  Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Pine Knot Cemetery, Pine Knot, KY.
