Obituary of Wanda B. Rencsok
RENCSOK, Wanda B. (nee Fortner) of Lebanon passed peacefully Sunday July 08, 2018. Born September 11, 1931 in Fort Gay, WV. Wanda was the daughter of Frank and Susie (nee Akers) Fortner, and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her. Wanda was a devoted member of the Lebanon Baptist Temple for over 40 years, serving many years in both the nursery and the church choir. Wanda also volunteered for many years with the Fellowship Tract League, bringing the gospel to the world. Many in Lebanon will remember Wanda from her many years working as a cashier at Murphy's IGA, Bashfords, Corwin's IGA, and Big Bear. Preceeded in death by her husband Stephen F. Rencsok, sister Iolene Meredith, and grandson Brian Schumacher, Wanda is survived by her son William (Glenda) Rencsok of Lebanon, daughters Cheryl Rencsok of Lebanon, and Deborah Clayborn of Vandalia, Oh, sisters Retah Nelson of Phoenix, Az, and Shelia (Harold) Sharp of Elyria, OH. Wanda is also survived by grandchildren Hannah Duff, Abby Roark, Andy Lymburner, Joanna Mahaffey, Lydia Martin and Deborah Rencsok, as well as great-grandchildren Kavan, Mike and Liam Roark, Evie and Ellie Mahaffey, Hannah Jones, and Steven, Addy, and Emma Lymburner, and Cora and Silas Martin.
The family will receive friends Thursday July 12, 2018 from 5pm until time of service at 6:30pm, all at the Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home in Lebanon, OH. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
