Obituary of Flora Allen

ALLEN, Flora (nee Baker) age 92 of Lebanon, Ohio died peacefully Friday, June 22, 2018 at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Clay County, Kentucky April 8, 1926 the daughter of Kenus and Nannie (Stidham) Baker.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Flora loved quilting, fishing and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Mae Baker, Oma Allen, Thelma Allen, Sophia Allen, Rosalee Wass and Phyllis Baker; brothers Elmer and Rollie Baker; husband Ambrose and sons Gary and Luther and two great-grandchildren Johnny Gilbert and Dalton Painter.  She is survived by her son Larry (Sharon) Allen of Morrow, Ohio; daughters Marie Brewer of South Lebanon, Ohio and Linda (Denny) Mitchell of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter-in-law Sharon Powell; brothers Wallace Baker of Tyner, Kentucky and Dan Baker of Sexton's Creek, Kentucky; sister Aline Allen of South Lebanon, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
