Obituary of Harold L. Wells

WELLS, Harold L. age 82 of Okeechobee, FL, formerly of Lebanon, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Okeechobee Health Care Facility. Born July 24, 1935, Harold was the son of Lee and Verna (nee Bailey) Wells, and was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Harold was a delivery driver by trade, retiring from Dickerson Distributing in 1997, and was known as the "Bud Man" throughout Warren County. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Harold was a U.S. Army Veteran, a 50 year member of the Lebanon Elks Lodge, a member of the Mason American Legion, a Freemason, Shriner, and past Patron of the Lebanon Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by his mother, father, and brothers Bob and Gary Wells. Harold leaves behind his wife Peggy (nee Fite) Wells of Okeechobee, FL, brothers Ron Wells of Ridgeville, IN, and Dickie Wells of Brooker, FL, son Steve Wells (Melanie) of Liberty Township, OH, daughter Heather (nee Wells) Skalley of Tiffin, OH, grandchildren Danielle, Jessica, Brooke, Logan, Mikayla, Ethan, Dylan, and Shelby, great-granddaughter Aubree, and many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be Friday, June 22, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, and funeral services at 1:00pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home located at 801 Monroe Road Lebanon, OH. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
