Although Jeff & I were separated by 10 years in age, he was truly a favorite cousin. He always enjoyed coming back to the hills of Eastern Kentucky, seeing childhood hang-outs, and visiting the places his family once inhabited. We both loved old cars and often shared our "druthers" of which one/s we'd rather have. He always ended his texts or calls with an "i love you, 'cuz" and a "take care of your mom". Richard and Mary brought Jeff & Todd to visit Mom & Dad many times thru' the years and we always enjoyed their visits and their family. We were all saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. His absence leaves a void in our hearts and minds and we cannot imagine the grief his parents and family are undergoing. Although we planned on attending his service, we were doing what he directed....taking care of Mom. And that, we know, would please him. We love you Jeff, and we will see you again. And we know that you're having a grand reunion with your brother, your grandparents, and a host of family members who were waiting on you.

Wow, what a surprise!!!
Anytime Jeff would see me coming through the neighborhood with the dogs, he would come out and see them. He thought they were beautiful. He would always call out "How's the preacher today?" I thought alot of him and enjoyed little talks about Jesus with him.

Richard and Mary,
Jim and I are in shock as I know that you are also. What a loving friend we had in Jeff. It just seems that life is getting too short for many of our loved ones and we always ask Why. We will do anything that you might want or need. Our hearts are broken again, but yours are crushed, so sorry. Hope to see you Friday but I had eye surgery and may not be able to attend. Our prayers are with you.

I am very sorry Mary and Richard that Jeff has left us. He was truly a kind and gentle man who could never say no to anyone who needed help. You two and Jeff were always there for me when I needed help. Jeff was so caring with my animals and was always willing to do what was necessary. We had fun in the short time I knew him.
