Obituary of Mary Lou Amburgy

AMBURGY, Mary Lou (nee Gilbreth) age 96 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday evening, June 2, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties with her family by her side.  Born July 4, 1921 in Henry County, Tennessee, Mary Lou was the daughter of Carl John and Ila (Stockdale) Gilbreth and was a loving and devoted wife, sister and servant of the Lord.  Mary Lou was devoted to the ministry and made 61 tours of the Holy Land.  During her later years, Mary Lou devoted herself to the Darlene Bishop Home for Life at the Solid Rock Church.  Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth Edwin and Carl Hayes Gilbreth, and husband Kash Amburgy, Mary Lou leaves behind her brother Paul (Patti) Gilbreth of Oklahoma and sister Frieda James of Mississippi, many nieces and nephews and her extended family at the Solid Rock Church.  

Calling hours will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 11am until 2pm with funeral services beginning at 2pm at the Solid Rock Church located at 703 Union Road, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.  Interment will follow in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio   45036.

The family requests memorial donations in Mary Lou's honor be directed to the Darlene Bishop Home for Life, 703 Union Road, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
