Obituary of Richard G. MILLIGAN

MILLIGAN, Richard G. age 69 of Lebanon, Ohio was released into God's presence Monday, May 14, 2018.  He was born August 3, 1948 in Marion, Ohio and was the son of Harold and Dorothy (nee Showers) Milligan.  Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Deborah J. (nee Clark) Milligan.  He was the loving father of Michelle (Pat) Richardson, Melissa (Rick) McGahan and Timothy (Susan) Milligan.  He was also the devoted Papa of six grandchildren:  Alyssa Richardson Holtgrefe, Brooke Richardson, Tyler Richardson, Maranda McGahan, Colin Milligan and Daniel Milligan.  Richard is also survived by three brothers:  Delbert (Linda) Milligan, his twin Raymond (Karen) Milligan and Thomas (Myra) Milligan.  A 1971 graduate of Ohio State University, Richard was most recently employed by the Lebanon City Schools bus garage.  He had retired in 2016 as the head administrator of the Lebanon Christian Schools after serving in that capacity for 20 years.  Previously, he was store manager of the Big Bear Plus in Lebanon.  A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Countryside Community Church located at 1436 Deerfield Road, Lebanon, Ohio.  We will begin seating for greeting hours from 3:00pm until 5:30pm.  We will then begin seating for the celebration service at 5:30pm.  The celebration service will begin at 6:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Richard Milligan Scholarship Fund at Lebanon Christian School.
