Griffis, Donald Frank age 92 of West Chester, Ohio passed February 19, 2018 at Otterbein Middletown after an illness. Born May 17, 1925 in Norwood, Ohio. Donald was the son of the late Frank and Lillian (nee Wassel) Griffis. Donald was a loving and devoted father, brother and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Ethel (nee Hale) Griffis; daughter Janet (Curt) Chapman and sister Ruth Caldwell. Donald leaves behind sons Donald Griffis of Sharonville, Ohio, David Griffis of Mainveville, Ohio, Raymond (Judy) of Goshen, Ohio; daughters Dorothy (Robert) Bastin of Lebanon, Ohio, and Barbara Allen of Carlisle, Ohio; brother Roy (Bonnie) Griffis of Kettering, Ohio; grandchildren Rodney (Dollie) Griffis of Pleasant Plain, Ohio, Jesse Griffis of Maineville, Ohio and Britni Bastin of Centerville, Ohio and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
