Obituary of James B. Raper

Raper, James B. age 87 of Maineville, Ohio passed peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his residence. Born November 12, 1930 in Wayne County, North Carolina, James was the son of Charlie and Florence (nee Parrish) Raper and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. James enjoyed boxing, wrestling, lifting weights but most of all spending time with his family. He was a member of Union Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters. Preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Pauline; daughter Lisa Marie Heming; brothers William Raper and Charlie Raper Jr.; sisters Albert Saunders and Dorothy Jones; James leaves behind his daughters Debbie (Mark) Powell of Roachester, Ohio and Paula (Cliff) Crouch of Lebanon, Ohio; 9 gradnchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, February 12, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 12:30 pm at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Maineville Cemetery, Maineville, Ohio.
